Monumental Ink tattoo studios started with Aaron Clarke who began as a self taught artist from his home. He understands the troubles with getting started as a tattoo artist and it was his frustration that sparked his passion to create an academy to give all people the opportunity that he never had.

At our academy we are teaching the same methods and principles that we use within our own successful tattoo studios. Our proof is in the pudding for everyone to see.

The majority of artists at Monumental ink tattoo studios have been taught to tattoo from zero. We have a phenomenal training style that brings out the best in the people who commit themselves to learning. We have honed our training methods over the last 12 years to a point where we know how to get the best out of people.

We have an award winning artist and many industry masters teaching our programs. We believe “how you do anything is how you do everything”, which is why you will see continuity and brand quality in all that we do.

It is not uncommon for us to offer full apprenticeships to people who train with us. We currently have 5 people who came to our taster days now working at Monumental Studios. We make no promises but we would be lying if we said we weren't keeping an eye out for talent!
